PopUp Shop Shop ("PopUp Shop Shop", "we", "us", "our") connects brands to pop-up spaces in shopping destinations across South Africa. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information on this website, popupshopshop.com, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

This policy covers the marketing website only, www.popupshopshop.com. If you sign up as a brand or property partner, that happens on app.popupshopshop.com, which has its own privacy policy covering account information, applications and leasing details.

We keep this simple. We only ever collect personal information directly from you, in two ways:

• When you contact us. If you fill in our contact form, we collect what you give us, typically your name, email address and the content of your message. This is voluntary, but we won't be able to reply to you without at least your email address. We use this information to reply to you and nothing else.

• Through cookies and similar tracking. When you browse this site, we and our marketing partners collect information automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the site. We use this for marketing purposes: understanding how people find and use our site, and showing relevant ads on other platforms.

• Withdraw consent for cookies at any time through our cookie settings, without affecting anything already done based on your earlier consent.

• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe we've handled your information incorrectly.

This website isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep the personal information we hold secure and to prevent loss, unauthorised access, or misuse. If a security incident ever puts your personal information at risk, we'll notify the Information Regulator and you, where required by POPIA.

This site links out to app.popupshopshop.com and to our social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover how they handle your information.

We may update this policy from time to time as our website, tools or the law change. We'll update the date at the top when we do. Please check back occasionally.
